Saturday, February 3 at the Convent of St. Francis Vico, was held for the eighth consecutive year and organized by the Association of Friends of the Convent, an evening "festive meals with Corsican songs and the tombola" in favor of the Convent to mark the beginning of the year with Pulenta, Brocciu and Figatelli, prepared by the volunteers of the association. The event took place inside Padre Albini's hall, as it does every year.

Magré the bad weather, there were 70 meals which were served. The choir conducted by Jean, Antoine and Jean-Claude conducted a small tour of Corsican songs during the meal. All the participants of the songs were delighted to have sung and made sing in Corsican language. A friendly and supportive atmosphere warms our hearts in this winter of the year. This evening was a treat and was appreciated by all participants. All the members of the association wish to thank all the actors of this festival who worked for the success, as well as all the people who came to this event to serve and share. The association will soon give you another appointment to continue supporting the Convent of Saint Francis in Vico.
